Malvern Bridge Club
Malvern Bridge Club meets every Thursday evening at the *****The Bowling Club, Victoria Park, Malvern Link at 7.15pm.**** A host is available on most nights to ensure that players can find a partner. It is with great sadness that the death of John Cattanach has been announced. He was a huge personality, involved in bridge at every level in the County, and known not only by EBU members but most of the players in the County. The work that he did for bridge was endless, from teaching classes, running events, membership secretary and producing the County Magazine. He knew most of the players in the County and was always approachable and a point of contact if you needed to know anything. Our thoughts are with his wife Rosemary and his sons. There will be a family only cremation followed by a service for everyone at St.Stephens Church, Droitwich Road Worcester - at 3.30pm on Friday 4th July. No BLACK to be worn!!!! He wanted everyone to laugh and to wear a red flower.
